Since the beginning of XX cen., l’Antica Deruta has been creating the highest quality artistic ceramics, which because their unique effects and impeccable taste, have contribuited to the factory’s special position in the world of art ceramics.

Property of Moretti’s family from three generations, the company still produces majolics in the ancient way, following the renaissance tradition of Deruta; every single piece infact, is still completely forged and painted by hand.

Today, after a long presence in the market, l ’Antica Deruta is a leader company, and his products are present in the most exclusive stores all over the world, and wanted by designers to give a unique touch to their projects. In the seventies has been created inside the factory a place dedicated to contemporary art, called GALLERIA MORETTI; it’s a large and unique collections of marstepieces made by famouse artists in the factory’s studio.

For the sake of art and culture, it has always been the factory task to establish a collaboration with nationally and internationally renowed artists, wha have contributed to the creation of innovative collections, one-of-kind object and numbered pieces; because this fruitful collaboration, the factory has developed a capacity to satisfy the specific demands of todays art and culture.
